Terms of Service

The data we are collecting will be used to develop an intelligent nutrition and shopping platform (the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Catena MBA SEZC, #525 10 Market St, George Town, KY1-9006, Grand Cayman ("we", "us", "our").

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

The service we are building aims to simplify nutrition and shopping for users using AI. The current phase of the service is in gathering data to test what is possible and how best to serve users. More information will be available once this initial phase is complete. Users will be given the opportunity to continue use of the service as it is developed and information will be provided at each phase of the development.

Please note: This service is in development phase only at present. When offered commercially later on, we will provide further information so that users can make informed decisions as to whether they would like to continue participation.

You agree to:

• Keep your account login details secure.
• Provide accurate onboarding data (e.g. dietary preferences, allergies).
• Not use the Service for unlawful purposes (e.g. fraud, uploading harmful files, abusive content).
• Only upload receipts or information you are legally entitled to share.

• All content, branding, and software powering our service remains our intellectual property or that of our licensors.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without written permission.

• We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• You retain ownership of the data you provide (e.g. receipts, onboarding answers).
• By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process this data for the purpose of delivering the Service.
• Should you decide to discontinue participation, we would remove any personally identifying data from our servers upon your request as per GDPR regulations. Further de-identified data would be used for AI model training, but can also be deleted should you wish for this to be done.

Currently we are not charging for our service as it is still in development. Should we launch a paid service, you will be offered the option to continue on that basis or delete your account. As an early user and data contributor, you will be offered a lifetime discount for any subsequent subscriptions should this become a paid service.

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of AI outputs, or error-free results.
• We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI-generated suggestions (e.g. dietary, financial, or purchasing decisions).

• You may close your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
